Vitalise works with a number of different charities to offer services and support to disabled people, visually impaired people and carers.
Action for Blind People is one of the largest charities in the UK providing practical, free and confidential support for blind and partially sighted people in all aspects of their lives. The charity is driven by the needs of visually impaired people and has a reputation for talking less and doing more.
Vitalise Holidays and Action for Blind People are working in partnership to offer a range of holidays for blind and partially sighted people in 2009, based at Action's specialist hotels.
The Alzheimer’s Society has expertise in information and education for carers and professionals. It provides helplines and support for carers, runs quality day and home care, funds medical and scientific research and gives financial help to families in need. It campaigns for improved health and social services and greater public understanding of all aspects of dementia.

Carers UK is the voice of carers. Carers UK fights to end the ill health, poverty and discrimination faced by carers as a direct consequence of caring. Carers UK improves carers’ lives by providing information and advice on carers’ rights and campaigning for changes that make a real difference for carers.
Crossroads Care is a national network of local charities providing flexible services to people of all ages and with varying degrees of disability. They work with over 35,000 individuals and their families, helping carers to make a life of their own outside caring.
Vitalise helped to put together Holidays for All - a group of the UK's leading disability organisations working together to promote quality, accessible holiday breaks providing improved choice and flexibility for holiday makers.

Liberty Child provides holidays for children and young people with disabilities. A Liberty Child holiday often gives children their first taste of independence, and a chance to get together with others of the same age. The children’s parents and carers also get a very important and much-needed break, confident that the children are well looked-after and enjoying a holiday in a safe environment.
Vitalise and Liberty Child are working together to provide free holidays for disabled children during summer 2009.
The MS Society is the UK's largest charity for people affected by Multiple Sclerosis (MS) – about 100,000 people in the UK.
In partnership with the Society Vitalise offers subsidised rooms throughout the year at two of our Centres. These are for guests with MS and partners or carers. For more details please see About Our Breaks.
Refresh is a charity based at St Thomas’s Hospital, London. They provide planned breaks, convalescence and respite care for people who are severely disabled and ventilator-dependent, at the Refresh Wing at Vitalise Netley Waterside House.
The Stroke Association is the only UK wide charity solely concerned with combating stroke in people of all ages. It funds research into prevention, treatment and better methods of rehabilitation, and helps stroke patients and their families directly through its Rehabilitation and Support Services.
Tourism for All UK is a national registered charity which provides:
- information to people with disabilities and older people in relation to accessible accommodation and other tourism services
- expertise and support to the tourism and hospitality sector to provide accessible services for all
- a network for organisations and individuals who wish to support the objectives of Tourism for ALL
