Friend of Jubilee Lodge awarded MBE – Current News

Congratulations to Anne McConnell, who has been awarded an MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours for her tireless voluntary work at Vitalise Jubilee Lodge, Essex.

Anne has been a valued volunteer at the Centre since the 1960s. As part of the Friends of Jubilee Lodge Committee she has also helped raise hundreds of thousands of pounds in support of the Centre’s vital work providing respite breaks for disabled people and carers.

Anne said that her award 'came completely out the blue' but that she was 'very very much looking forward to collecting it.'
