Vitalise (formerly the Winged Fellowship Trust) is a national charity providing essential services for disabled people, visually impaired people, and carers. Vitalise provides around 7,000 weeks of breaks each year for disabled adults, children and carers at five fully accessible UK Centres in Lanlivery, Cornwall, Chigwell, Essex, Nottingham, Southampton and Southport.

Four of the five Centres provide 24-hour care on-call and personal support in a relaxed, holiday environment. The Centres’ experienced staff can cater for over 150 different disabilities and, in addition to specialist nursing care, each guest is accompanied by a volunteer who provides companionship and support.

Vitalise Churchtown in Cornwall provides accessible activity and adventure breaks for groups of children and adults with physical, sensory and learning disabilities. Day services and accessible self-catering holiday lodges are also available at Vitalise Churchtown. Vitalise Ellerslie Court in Southport provides long-stay residential accommodation for disabled people.

Vitalise’s Centres organise hundreds of activities and excursions throughout the year, with evening entertainment laid on. A range of special interest breaks focus on particular activities, allowing guests to enjoy activities that would otherwise be very difficult or even impossible for them to participate in. There are also special subsidised weeks for people with Alzheimer’s and their partners.

Vitalise New Horizons Day Centre in Derby is the UK’s first ‘lifestyle centre’, offering adults with high-level needs a bespoke day service that promotes independence.

Vitalise Home Services provides home support to disabled or older people and carers in the London region. Vitalise Homecare offers disabled and older people a tailored package of personal care, domestic support and companionship, while Vitalise Homeshare arranges live-in support for frail or isolated older people and those with long-term health conditions.
