Eclipse adopted Vitalise as their charity of the year in August 2007

Steve Surridge, Managing Director of Eclipse says
“Eclipse Sports Promotions is honoured to have chosen Vitalise as our Charity of the Year. Life is about more than just staying alive. It’s about living to the full. Guests on a Vitalise break have access to a whole range of activities and excursions. They gain dignity, independence and, most importantly, quality of life.”

Eclipse fundraising events

Eclipse have raised funds in support of Vitalise at a number of exciting events this year. Their most recent event was the official launch of our Charity of the Year partnership at Lord's Cricket Ground in December and there's a lot more planned for 2008.

Official Eclipse and Vitalise Charity of the Year launch

Eclipse celebrated the launch of Vitalise as their Charity of the Year with a star-studded lunch and auction held at the Media Centre at Lord's Cricket Ground in December 2007.

A tour of the grounds was followed by a wonderful three course lunch and frenzied bidding at the auction, with some fabulous one-off sports memorabilia up for grabs.

Vitalise is thrilled that £1500 has so far been raised from the auction with another £1,000 pledged.

Each table at the lunch hosted a celebrity guest including cricketer and Strictly Come Dancing star Mark Ramprakash, current Worcester batsman and former Wisden cricketer of the year Graham Hick and footballers Warren Barton, John Salako, Martin Chivers, Kerry Dixon and Mick Hazard.
