Providing care is costly

We spend over £7.5 million a year to ensure high quality care for disabled guests at our Centres, yet we receive no central government funding. We have to make every penny count and we badly need your support and generosity to keep our services running.

Every donation we receive helps us continue reaching out to more people

One in four people in the UK is affected by disability – either they are disabled themselves or they care for someone who is. Vitalise helps thousands of disabled people and carers each year with our short breaks and other services, but there are many thousands more in desperate need of support.

How we use your donation

Your gift can help in so many ways. It might enable us to provide nursing care for a disabled person, purchase mobility equipment for one of our Centres or subsidise the cost of one of our day trips.

These are just some of the costs we face every week:

£542 – specialist nursing care for one guest for one week
£203 – placing a volunteer at a Vitalise Centre for one week
£49 – a much-needed evening out and social events for a carer for one week
