The hills and dales of one of England’s most picturesque counties provide the perfect setting for this horse riding weekend. Rural Cheshire is renowned for its rolling countryside and green pastures, dotted with pretty villages and criss-crossed by bridleways, ideal horse riding terrain for all abilities.
Whether a novice or an accomplished equestrian, the expert tuition we’ve arranged will ensure you make the most of the four sessions of riding you’ll enjoy over the weekend and come away with more skill and confidence on horseback.
We’ll be staying at the four-star Macdonald Portal Hotel, where you can enjoy the luxurious atmosphere and relax after a day’s riding. The hotel has a heated indoor pool overlooking the surrounding countryside where you can enjoy an invigorating swim, and for an additional charge you can book into the hotel’s spa for a range of relaxing treatments.
