Budapest, the capital of Hungary, is often called the Princess of the Danube. It’s a city of great culture, dating back a thousand years, and famous for its thermal spas, ornate bridges and wonderful vistas across the mighty River Danube.
Formerly two cities now united, on one side of the Danube the hilly Buda looms majestically over the more modern Pest side of the city. The famous Castle District, the River Danube embankments and the whole of Andrássy út have been officially designated as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The architectural diversity of the city, including many distinctive Art Nouveau buildings, hints at a colourful past.
Our hotel is ideally situated just a short walk from most of the main historical attractions, including Buda Castle. With its numerous landmarks, museums, evocative streets and peaceful squares, this intriguing, imposing city is an explorer’s dream. And when you want to relax, Budapest’s variety of nightlife, will ensure your nights are every bit as memorable as your days.
