Vitalise New Horizons Day Service
Working in partnership with Derby City Council Social Services Vitalise provides a specialist service for disabled people living in Derby.
Vitalise New Horizons is a unique Lifestyle Centre that supports disabled people with varying levels of disability, making it possible for them to get more out of life.
We aim to give disabled people the chance to meet others, socialise and join in with leisure and educational activities.
Activities
The Centre's team of dedicated staff offer tailored support for a wide range of activities including:
- Woodwork
- Art & crafts
- Aromatherapy
- Wheelchair exercises
- IT
Transport
To promote independence and choice, New Horizons staff can provide support and training in the use of public transport to access both the Vitalise New Horizons Centre and community-based activities. Vitalise New Horizons can also support transport provision for service users, with two accessible minibuses operated by the day service.
Outreach
The Centre can also provide a flexible outreach service depending on the needs of individual service users.

Vitalise New Horizons is open Monday to Friday from 9.00am – 4.00pm (excluding Bank Holidays).
