Vitalise Homeshare is an affordable service because we fund most of the cost of setting up and supporting your homeshare ourselves through our fundraising activities.

Both householders (or relatives of householders) and homesharers also make a contribution to the total cost by paying a small monthly fee to Homeshare.

For homesharers the fee is extremely competitive and offers great savings on the average cost of rented accommodation in London.

Funding options

If householders have difficulty meeting the cost of the service, other options may be available. For example:

• Householder’s income can be reviewed to make sure they are receiving all benefits to which they are entitled
• Help may be asked for from local grant making trusts
• Fees may be paid by local authorities in some cases as part of statutory care packages
