Introduction
Vitalise Netley Waterside House was designed to meet the requirements of individuals with a range of needs, and to provide as accessible and caring an environment as possible.
Netley Waterside House has welcomed many hundreds of guests through its doors over the years.
Set on the edge of Southampton Water, the grounds slope down via a series of gradients to the water’s edge. Some manual wheelchair users may need assistance to gain access to this area as some gradients on the path are up to 1:6.
At the time it was designed the criteria for accessibility were different to those in place today, therefore some of the facilities may not meet current building requirements. When changes are made Vitalise will improve accessibility wherever possible.
As well as 21 single bedrooms and six twin bedded rooms offering full-board accommodation there are two suites (Solent and Beachcomber) for guests who wish to bring a friend or carer.
The Refresh Wing at Vitalise Netley Waterside House also has two specially equipped suites exclusive to Refresh guests. Our partners at Refresh can provide planned breaks and respite care for guests who are severely disabled and ventilator-dependent.
Netley Waterside House is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to ensure a consistent level of service for clients.
The following statement is a summary of our provision. If you have any specific questions please feel free to call us and we will endeavour to help. Other information can be found on our website and in our brochure.
