Guest favourite: Milestones Living History Museum
This is a firm favourite of many of Netley's guests. Milestones is a Living History museum in Basingstoke where the streets of Victorian and 1930s England have been recreated so you can experience shops, a village green and even a pub as they would have been in past times.
You can also chat with the museum's team of costumed guides about what the past would have been like. Milestones is packed full of things that ordinary men, women and children used in the past, showing you how people worked, washed their clothes, ate, slept and had fun.
There are events and exhibitions throughout the year so there’s always something new to see and do.
The entrance fee is an affordable £7.50 and the purpose built building is fully accessible. Wheelchairs and motorised scooters can be pre-booked for your visit.
