Who We Are
Vitalise has been providing short breaks for disabled people and carers at accessible Centres in the UK since 1963 (We were founded in 1963 as Winged Fellowship Trust. In 2004 we became Vitalise).
We firmly believe that disabled people should have the same rights, freedoms, responsibilities and quality of life as those without disabilities.
Centre Breaks
Our Centres cater for adults with a variety of physical disabilities. We aim to provide an alternative to traditional residential respite care. Each Centre offers short breaks in a relaxed, holiday style environment with a variety of trips and activities. Guests on our breaks are supported by volunteers who provide companionship and assistance.
Vitalise Ellerslie Court is a lively, accessible long stay residential Centre for disabled people in the elegant Birkdale area of Southport.
Our mission is to promote, provide and deliver high standards of inclusive, short and medium term services for disabled people, visually impaired people, and carers. Vitalise recognises the value and importance of involving volunteers.
The Vitalise BBC Lifeline Appeal explains how important Vitalise's services are for disabled people and carers.
