Stand Aid for Sandpipers
We are trying to raise enough money to purchase a new stand aid for the Vitalise Sandpipers Centre.
A stand aid is a vital piece of equipment in our Vitalise Centres. It is used to assist our guests who have difficulty standing independently, but who don't necessarily need hoisting: people with , for example, multiple sclerosis. It helps them to move from sitting to standing and back with ease and dignity, whilst enabling them to put some weight on their feet which helps circulation.
