We would like to say thank you and bid a fond farewell to Pure Recruitment who made Vitalise their charity of the year for 2006-7.
Not only were they very enthusiastic fundraisers for Vitalise but staff members also volunteered to help out at Vitalise Netley Waterside House in May 2007 – see what happened below.
Pure's final event for Vitalise was a reception and celebrity auction at Fortnum and Mason's Food Hall in November 2007, attended by special guest Esther Rantzen.
We are delighted to say that Pure achieved their target of raising £20,000 for Vitalise over the course of the year. A big well done and thank you to everyone involved.
Team volunteering
Staff from Pure volunteered for a day in May 2007 at Vitalise Netley Waterside House.
Four Pure staff members - Debbie Hills, Andrew Harris, James Limburn and Beccy Smith - helped in the Centre’s gardens, assisted staff with serving the guests’ lunch and took them on an excursion to a local country park. James Limburn even gave a lunchtime bagpipe recital for the enjoyment of the guests!
Debbie Hills said:
“The day we spent with Vitalise was lots of fun. The atmosphere and their facilities were great. We are so glad we had the opportunity to show our support for their great work and also meet the people Vitalise help.”
Vitalise was chosen as Charity of the Year by Pure in August 2006. The charity will benefit from Pure’s fundraising efforts in support of its work. Pure hopes to raise in excess of £20,000 from the year’s activities.
